Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant team will work with the City of Tucson to refine and finalize the design concept for the Alamo Wash Greenway, provide preliminary and final design services for the project, and support the City with public engagement. This scope of services for this project includes, but is not limited to: • Review of previous planning and design work, including the Pima Regional Trail System Master Plan (2012 update), Arcadia, Alamo, and Rose Hill Urban Greenways Concept Plans (2014), and Proposition 407-related documentation such as maps and the project fact sheet. • An alignment alternatives analysis and facility type selection to refine the design concept based on opportunities and constraints including available ROW, user experience, utility conflicts, cost, and other relevant factors. • Preliminary and final design for the preferred concept, including some combination of the following facility types and crossing treatments: o 10’ wide asphalt shared-use path with lighting and landscaping/green stormwater infrastructure o Bicycle Boulevard-style segments with traffic calming, wayfinding signage, and pavement markings o Up to 8 BikeHAWKs (Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons modified to accommodate people biking) o Up to 4 pedestrian and bicycle only bridges • Public engagement support • Post-design services such as bidding services, construction administration, and asbuilts/record drawings coordination
