Specifications include, but are not limited to: Account Management Contractor shall: 2.1 Establish and maintain throughout the term of the Contract an account management team, and adjust staffing as required and if acceptable to ASRS, in accordance with Section 18 (Key Personnel) of the Special Terms and Conditions. 2.2 Provide to ASRS at least a thirty- (30) day advanced notice of any planned change to the primary account manager. 2.3 Provide to ASRS the right to interview and agree to the intended replacement of the primary account manager. ASRS shall approve of proposed replacement before a hire is finalized. 2.4 Provide an account management team that is experienced in providing services for similar entities and groups, trained in ASRS Medical Plan requirements, accessible to ASRS geographically, and with sufficient capacity and authority to respond to ASRS issues in a timely manner. The account management team shall include at least the following individuals: 2.4.1 Account Executive – Responsible for the overall account relationship including strategic planning in relation to plan performance, consultative services, recommendations for benefit design and cost containment opportunities, overseeing contractual services under the Contract, and managing all other Contactor staff working on the ASRS account. Shall have at least three (3) years of experience with Contractor or similar organization as an Account Executive in similar engagements. 2.4.2 Account Manager – Responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day activities pertinent to the ASRS account. Must provide consistent, quality support to ASRS staff in all areas related to the account including but not limited to Participant inquiries and requests, provider relations, and Participant communications. Must have excellent customer service skills. 2.4.3 Actuary – Responsible for developing premiums for Medical and (if necessary) Pharmacy Plan options, projecting future claims costs and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reimbursements, and assisting ASRS in determining the projected shortand long-term financial impact(s) of prospective plans. Shall be a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and have experience in rating plans for groups similar to ASRS. 2.4.4 Medical Director – Responsible for design and clinical effectiveness of medical management and wellness programs to manage the risk of ASRS group and therefore control future cost/premium increases. Work pro-actively and collaboratively with ASRS to identify health risks in ASRS group that are behaviorally caused and, as necessary, develop modified or additional programs to target these risks. Assist ASRS in determining the projected short- and long-term clinical and health impact(s) of current and prospective plans.
