Specifications include, but are not limited to: . WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS A. The Contractor will ensure storage, management, and transportation of donated foods in a manner that properly safeguards them against theft, spoilage, damage, or other loss. The Contractor will rotate all stock on a first-in, first-out basis and ensure storage of foods in a manner that distinguishes them from other foods including a separate perpetual inventory recordkeeping of foods. The Contractor must be able to identify when a product was received and from which shipment (Sales Order number). ADE may implement a "hold or recall" if a complaint is received or the product does not meet USDA specifications. Information on where the product is located at the warehouse or to whom and what quantity has been distributed must be provided to ADE within twenty-four (24) hours from a request to the Contractor by ADE. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY The Contractor shall: 3.1 Have the capability to maintain computer information systems to interface with the federal system, Web Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM), and current state system and to provide inventory tracking, report generation, and file upload/download capabilities. The Contractor must be capable of exchanging all data electronically. The Contractor will be expected to receive and send daily electronic files that contain RA shipment, confirmation, and delivery information to ADE in a format agreed upon by ADE and the Contractor. INBOUND SHIPMENTS The Contractor shall: 4.1 Accept all shipments in accordance with USDA and ADE regulations. A. Schedules and Methods. 1) The scheduling of inbound shipments of basic USDA Foods is primarily controlled by the USDA/Manufacturer/RA, although the ADE exercises some control monthly. The scheduling of inbound shipments of further- processed USDA Foods also is controlled by the USDA with the ADE indicating preferred shipping periods. Final shipment dates of further-processed USDA Foods, depends on the turn-around time needed by the processing vendors.
