Specifications include, but are not limited to: At the request of our Governing Board, Alvarez and Marsal (A&M) reviewed MaricopaCommunity College District operations and produced an effectiveness and efficiency study,including projected cost savings in a number of areas. The District would like to select a UtilitiesManagement Consultant to analyze and review the specific issues raised in the efficiency study.The Basic Services Scope of this Consultant include:·Review A&M's initial analysis and savings projections·Review and comment upon District staff analysis, response and recommendations·Provide additional review of electricity and natural gas bills for all District locations, bothowned and leased, to ascertain whether additional savings can be identified throughaggregation, totalizing, integrated or consolidated bill payment, tariff reviews, etc.·Identify and assist the District to obtain other utility cost savings options not identified bystaff or A&M·Directly negotiate with providing utilities for changes in rates or structures from currentstatus that result in long term, more advantageous plans with lower costs·Audit and review current electricity and natural gas bills to ascertain whether payment orbilling errors are present and follow through on necessary corrections, refunds foroverbillings or other identified errors·Identify demand response or other incentive programs from utilities not currently being usedor not being used optimally by the District
