Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) is a general medical and surgical hospital which provides comprehensive health services primarily to Native American /Alaska Natives and other eligible beneficiaries. PIMC serves as a referral hospital for the more difficult and complex cases from other hospitals and health centers located throughout the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service (includes health facilities in the states of Nevada and Utah). PIMC also serves as the primary health facility for a large number of urban Native American/Alaska Natives. It is one of the only three referral hospitals in the Indian Health Service (IHS) which provides complex highly technical health services to an entire Indian Health Area.
PIMC has a requirement for Teleradiology Services with the interpretation of medical images including X-ray (DR), Computed Tomography (CT) (to also include 3D reconstructions), Mammography (MM) (to also include 2D and 3D screening and diagnostics), Ultrasound (US), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Dual Energy x-ray (DEXA).
