Specifications include, but are not limited to: Marketing and Advertising • Develop or revise existing marketing plans considering alternative methods to market products/services. • Recommend creative and low-cost strategies for attracting and retaining customers. • Develop and design logos, graphics, advertisements, flyers, etc., and provide options for implementation, if necessary. • Provide copywriting and graphic design services to support marketing efforts. Website Development/SEO/Online Presence • Evaluate the client’s online presence and needs and recommend appropriate digital marketing options. • Develop or update and enhance the client’s website, including e-commerce capabilities. • Recommend options to leverage the client’s Search Engine Optimization. • Provide training on various social media outlets to enhance the client’s online presence. Accounting and Finance • Assess client’s accounting and management systems, recommend improvements, and assist with implementation of best practices, if necessary. • Assess Point of Sale (POS) and merchant systems and make recommendations as necessary. • Analyze working capital needs and conduct cost and breakeven analyses. • Provide budgeting and cash flow recommendations. • Orient client to possible tax incentives, loan and grant programs and assist with applications as applicable and appropriate Analyze the credit worthiness of the business and assess their ability to apply for a loan. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in support of a client's business financing package. General Business • Assess and recommend changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, internal management controls, operational reporting systems, and office procedures. • Evaluate new business opportunities or alternative ways of doing business considering implementation costs, process changes, staffing needs and other requirements. Assist in the implementation, if necessary. • Develop new or revise existing business plans. • Assemble and prepare documents required for commercial loan requests. • Conduct business risk assessments. Human Resources • Develop employee recruitment and retention programs. • Develop new or revise human resources policies and procedures. • Assess/recommend training programs to help improve employee/management skills. • Orient client to available workforce programs. • Provide research, information, resources and problem resolution for workforce issues such as recruiting, training, employee relations, benefits, compensation, etc.
