3.1. INTRODUCTION The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department (PRD) manages 29 aquatic facilities with 45 separate bodies of water located throughout the City of Phoenix. Some pools and splash pads have multiple bodies of water which range in size from 12,000 gallons to 750,000 gallons of water. City staff requires miscellaneous commercial-grade swimming pool parts, splash pad parts, and equipment to perform maintenance activities on various systems including, but not limited to, filtration systems, pumps, impellers, motors, chemical injection systems, plumbing, and other infrastructure. 3.2. REQUIREMENTS Contractor will provide commercial grade parts and equipment, on an as needed basis, to various pool and splash pad locations over the contract term. Current requirements are listed in the Price Proposal Sheet however, the City reserves the right to add and delete items as needed over the course of the contract. Parts should be delivered no later than five business days after receipt of order. Exceptions to this timeframe can be allowed as long as it's communicated to the City in advance. A repeated failure to supply components within this required or agreed- upon timeframe may lead to contract termination.
