Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide instructional service/therapy to students • Provide response to referrals for evaluations from Individualized Educational Program (IEP) teams • Coordinate and complete evaluation of students • Participate in IEP meetings for student requiring services • Provide consultation and technical assistance to staff and parents • Provide up-to-date information to staff and parents about materials, equipment and methods • Offer telehealth services if requested by District administration. • Provide needed training to District staff to enable them to assist in and carry out related IEP goals • Troubleshoot problems experienced by District staff in operation of materials and equipment • Attend in-services or training on Medicaid, IEP development, state testing and behavioral management plans as required by job expectation, and any other district professional development opportunities required by job expectations. • Be capable of completing DCS Medicaid billing, if applicable • Follow District policies for evaluation, service implementation, data collection, reporting, direct service claiming and confidentiality • Incorporate and use research-based and evidence-based methodology designed specifically for students with disabilities • Agree to sign District policy and procedures regarding data security or agreements, upon District request.
