The improvements to be completed at Site 1 south tank (North Mohave #1) & Site 2 east tank (North Mohave #2) include the restoration and rehabilitation of the existing tanks to include: Site 1 blast and recoat, replace deteriorated weather stripping on the access hatch, repair / remove the non-functioning manual level indicator, and repair the most severe areas of coating failure with corrosion and pitting. All items noted in the MIDCO inspection report will also be addressed and repaired. See attached Report North Mohave #1 under Article 10. Site 2 blast and recoat, replace deteriorated weather stripping on the access hatch, install #24 corrosion resistant mesh on the roof vent, repair / remove the non-functioning manual level indicator and floor anchor, investigate and repair (as needed) water migration noted at the wall seams, monitor / replace missing bolt caps, epoxy repair the most severe areas of coating failure with corrosion and pitting. All items noted in the MIDCO inspection report will also be addressed and repaired. See attached Inspection Report North Mohave #2 Article 10. The contractor will provide and install a mixer at both reservoirs. Work will involve protecting underground utilities, and procuring and installing electrical equipment and controls as needed. The contractor also agrees to have the Bullhead City Utilities logo painted on each tank.
