Specifications include, but are not limited to:Access Control Systems – Category 1. The Access Control Systems category includes all aspects of Access Control System Services, including but not limited to the following services: Consulting Inspection as required by the using eligible agency. Installation of new systems. Replacement or upgrade of existing systems. Removal of existing systems. Maintenance and repair (including emergency repair) of systems. Normal Response to trouble calls within 8 hours, including weekends and holidays. Rural Area Response to trouble calls within 8 hours, including weekends and holidays. Emergency Response to trouble calls within 2 hour, including weekends and holidays. Rural Area Response to trouble calls within 4 hours, including weekends and holidays. Repair personnel must carry adequate hardware inventory to replace, repair, and/or maintain each system at the dispatched location. Repair personnel must be prepared to provide an immediate replacement for defective equipment and shall not remove a defective unit without an immediate replacement. Replacement and repair of equipment must be provided to a specific location, or within an assigned geographical area inside a location. Integration of various types of systems. Provide and install all related equipment and miscellaneous items such as wire, fasteners, hardware, etc. that may be needed to complete work. Provide programming and work individually with each Eligible Agencies information technology staff when installing new or maintaining previously installed systems. Contractor must possess the ability to provide individual access codes and provide all access codes and access procedures to the eligible agency. Burglar Alarm Systems – Category 2.
