Specifications include, but are not limited to: Implementation of an open-platform/non-proprietary, dynamic, flexible, scalable, and easily maintained access control system across all SRPMIC buildings on multiple campuses. This will include software, hardware, and network connectivity, to include (but will not be limited to): o Control cabinets; o Power supplies; o Readers. Training SRPMIC personnel in software use, hardware installation, and network connectivity. A 2-year (minimum) warranty for all work, software, and hardware. Facilitation of compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations, where required. Implementation of a limited, temporary system for 90 days (or more), utilizing a stand alone system set up at vendor expense for SRPMIC to test before determining how best to move forward. Removal of legacy access control cabinets and readers at each impacted site. Reuse of existing infrastructure where possible, is cost effective, and makes sense.
