Project Features: F0879 & F0882 are traffic Signal in ADOT’s Southwest District, on SR85 and Broadway & SR85 and Baseline respectively. Targeted advertisement is FY28. Identified improvements for projects F0879 & F0882 are: • Traffic Signal for SR85 and Baseline Rd • Traffic Signal Warrant for SR85 & Broadway Rd Warrant analysis, if met, contract modification will be completed to include design • ADA analysis needed Scope of Work: The design consultant’s scope of work includes: • Develop plans, specifications, and estimates for construction. • Submittals to include Project Requirements (with Estimate), Stage III, Stage IV, and bid ready documents. • Reports to include ADA, Geotechnical, and Materials Design with Pavement Design Summary. • Environmental analysis and technical reports to support ADOT EP in providing the Categorical Exclusion. • Geotechnical Field Investigation. • Right-of-way coordination as required for R/W clearance. R/W acquisition is anticipated. • Utility coordination as required for U&RR clearance. Perform aerial survey and topo mapping as needed. • Provide support to the ADOT Contracts and Specifications Group for bid advertisement. • Conduct management and administrative tasks including coordination, meetings, schedule updates, comment responses. • The applicable design standard will be per coordination between ADOT and the City of Buckeye • Document retention, project schedule, and risk register updates within the Workfront platform is required. • The design of the project will meet or exceed AASHTO, FHWA, ADOT, City of Buckeye, and MUTCD standards.
