Specifications include, but are not limited to: The applicant will work as an Independent Contractor to assist the CCESA in the identification, evaluation, placement, and provision of services (in licensed) area to special needs children as defined by I.D.E.A. Typical duties may include screening, evaluations, timely written reporting, therapy and counseling when indicated on an IEP. Participate in conferences with school staff members and parents relative to test findings and their interpretation; attend MET/I.E.P. conferences and make appropriate recommendations; comply with all I.D.E.A. regulations and Arizona Revised Statutes §15-765 to §15-767;assist teachers and administrators in maintaining compliance with State and Federal mandates relative to special education. Contractor will submit a quarterly and final report to the CCESA Director indicating major activities and the number of students served
