Specifications include, but are not limited to:The areas listed below are representative of, but not limited to, the expected work within the scope of work. 2.1 The ideal Contractor should have a working knowledge of the Stanly PAC Access Control System. 2.2 There are seven (7) City facilities already upgraded to the new RS2 access control system and fourteen (14) City facilities in need of the upgrade to RS2. 2.2.1 The City is seeking a price breakdown per building, as indicated on Fee Schedule. 2.3 Contractor shall furnish all materials, tools, appliances, appurtenances, labor, and travel to perform all required work. 2.4 The City is requesting the successful Contractor to utilize the existing wiring and electronic locks to the access control system card readers in facilities that have an access control system installed in them when viable. 2.4.1 If wiring needs to be replaced and if additional monies are required then Project Manager must approve. 2.4.2 All existing and new wiring lines must be tested and those testing results must be provided to the Project Manager. 2.5 There are currently two (2) City facilities (Fire Stations #181 and #183) that are not on either of the City’s access control systems. Those facilities will require the installation of new systems or RS2 compatible alternative solution to their door card readers. Any nonwired solution will require prior approval from the Project Manager. 2.6 Contractor shall provide a two (2) year warranty on all work performed. The awarded contractor must offer an option to extend warranty for the life of the system. 2.7 Contractor shall provide the City with three hundred (300) keycards for the RS2 Access Control System. 2.8 All work performed by the Contractor shall be executed under the direction and supervision of the City, by an authorized agent, on whose inspection all work shall be accepted or rejected. 2.9 Every day, the Contractor will ensure that worksite is cleaned and removal of any packing material that the technician used while performing work in the area.
