Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Marana is soliciting proposals from professional artists and/or environmental graphic designers to design, fabricate, and install a large-scale art project that will be a prominent element of the exterior façade of the new Town of Marana Community Center & Aquatic Facility in Marana, Arizona. Currently in the design development phase, the new 60,000+ square foot community center will feature an indoor gym, fitness area, meeting rooms, competition pool, and more. The art project is intended to further the Town’s commitment to provide public art throughout the community that commemorates the Town’s heritage. This art project will be a heritage marker for the community and should be positive, inviting, and transformative. This Request for Proposals describes the project, the required scope of services, the evaluation criteria, and the minimum information that must be included in the proposal.
