Specifications include, but are not limited to:PURPOSE 2.1 Purpose Statement: The purpose of this service is to purchase psychological evaluations and therapy for RSA clients as well as administrative services for RSA personnel. 2.2 Legal Authority: Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) §41-1954(A) (6) provides ADES the authority to enter into contracts and incur obligations within the general scope of its activities and operations. 2.2.1. RSA is authorized to provide this service under Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended [29 U.S.C. 723(a) Vocational Rehabilitation Services) and A.R.S. §23-503 Duties and Powers of Vocational Rehabilitation Division (i.e., Administration). 2.3 Projected Award 2.3.1 ADES intends to make multiple awards to secure service coverage statewide. 2.3.2 The anticipated start date is January 1, 2016. The Contract will be established with an initial Contract term of one (1) year with extension options. 2.4 Projected Utilization 2.4.1 There is no guarantee of the number of service units to be authorized. This contract may be used by any administration within the ADES but it will primarily utilized by Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). 3.0 SERVICE DESCRIPTION 3.1 Arizona Taxonomy Definition: A service that provides evaluation, consultation, testing and other professional services, which may include expert witness provided by licensed psychologists. 3.2 Services under this Contract consist of the following: 3.2.1 SERVICES FOR CLIENTS which include psychology and neuropsychology evaluations to determine the client’s mental and behavioral status, and psychological therapies. 3.2.2 ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES include: 1. Review and interpretation of clients’ prior psychology records and consultation to ADES or RSA personnel regarding the content of those records. 2. Assistance to ADES or RSA personnel on various subjects.
