Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), on behalf of the University of Arizona, issoliciting proposals from interested vendors to provide threat assessment consultation andworkplace/campus violence prevention education services on both an on-call and ongoingbasis. The service provider(s) shall serve as a consultant to the University s threatassessment and management teams when called upon, on both an urgent and non-urgentbasis, to provide professional risk assessments in specific cases (i.e., to make assessment,to a reasonable degree of danger to self or others). The consultant may be called on anurgent basis with short notice due to the need to swiftly handle an ongoing situation. Whenrequested, the consultant will also assist teams to develop case management plans and casereviews. The consultant will develop and deliver violence prevention education programmingto the campus community (administrators, faculty, students and staff) through both on-sitepersonal presentations and printed materials. The consultant also will review existingUniversity policies regarding workplace/campus violence prevention, and provide advice onimproving or adding to existing policies and procedures for handling such incidents when/ifthey do occur
