Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of widening 22nd Street between Camino Seco and Houghton Road to a four-lane arterial with raised medians, bicycle lanes, sidewalks, street lighting, enhanced pedestrian crossings, and landscaping. This is identified as project No. 30 in the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) 2006 bond package. Design for the project, including final design is anticipated to be completed in a single phase. An amount of $2,400,000.00 has been allocated for the design of this project. The consultant will be required to prepare construction drawings, specifications/special provisions, and cost estimates for the 22nd Street - Camino Seco to Houghton Road improvements. This project includes, but is not limited to pavement improvements, drainage facilities, multi-modal facilities, traffic signals, street lighting, pavement markings and signing, landscaping, and utility coordination. The consultant's statement of qualifications should be comprehensive and demonstrate the team's ability to perform all necessary tasks needed for the project design. This will include elements such as survey, right-of-way maps, public involvement, geotechnical investigating and reporting, drainage analysis, pavement design, traffic signal design, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. The consultant should also demonstrate experience with water modification plans for Tucson Water. The consultant is advised that the following disciplines are important to the determination of each team's qualifications and should be included in the proposal: • Civil Engineering (including roadway geometric design) • Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis (may include 404 permitting) • Traffic Engineering • Geotechnical Engineering • Landscaping • Utility Coordination • Public Relations
