Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project scope for Mountain Road includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following major features: • Improve Mountain Road to a major collector street from SR24 to Pecos Road - Design to include two travel lanes, bike lane, curb and gutter, and detached sidewalk in each direction (NB/SB), in addition to a center turn lane. - Improvements to tie into existing half street improvements north of SR24 - Limit improvements to the Pecos Road intersection to only what is required for tie-in. • Drainage improvements to store runoff from half-street areas adjacent to undeveloped parcels. • Prepare drainage report and recommendations for addressing local and regional drainage requirements. • Additional design considerations include: - City streetlights, fire hydrants, signing, striping and other associated improvements as required. - Perform geotechnical study including pavement design. - Support the City in developing any documents required for ADOT encroachment permit. • The design team may be required to provide supplemental services for real estate acquisitions. • City may include other miscellaneous improvements, as needed.
