SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor/Consultant will be expected to provide consultation and direction in all areas of pre-hospital emergency and non-emergency medical services. In general, the Medical Director will be responsible to provide: coordination and cooperation with base station physicians, coordination with medical facilities and post-acute care facilities and other east valley agencies, continuing education, medical oversight for EMS programs, program review, and administrative and legislative assistance. Scheduling, work to be completed, and project completion deadlines will be assigned to each individual project. All required meeting dates and representation at administrative and legislative processes will be scheduled through the EMS Division Chief. The Contractor/Consultant will furnish all professional services, labor, equipment, tools and insurance.
