Lake Havasu City is utilizing a two-step procurement process for selection of a qualified contractor to fabricate and install shade canopies at Main Street Commons Park, located at the corner of McCulloch Boulevard and Querio Drive. Step One was completed on August 13, 2025 with Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications submitted by Mansell Welding Inc and Merrill Development. The scope of work includes fabrication, transportation, installation, and painting of eight (8) additional conical shade canopies which must be exact replicas of the existing structures at the site. Mansell Welding Inc. and Merrill Development have been deemed qualified through this initial evaluation and is invited to participate in Step Two, which requires submission of a formal bid in response to the Invitation to Bid notice.
