Tempe Union High School District, located in Tempe, Arizona, hereinafter referred to as the “District” or “TUHSD” is soliciting offers from reputable and qualified vendors to support the needs of the District’s schools and departments for language lab software. Brand names, trade names, model numbers, and/or catalog numbers may be used to describe the standard of quality, performance, and other characteristics needed to meet member requirements. Use of the name of a manufacturer, brand, make or catalog number is not intended to limit or restrict competition, nor does it restrict offeror from the submission of equivalent brands. However, the District reserves the right to decide whether alternatives are equivalent to the materials and equipment described in the solicitation. The District shall be the sole judge of equivalent quality, and the Districts decision shall be final. Tempe Union High School District #213 will not consider partial Proposals. The District reserves the right to make a multiple award to more than one vendor. The award will be limited to the least number of vendors that the District determines is necessary to meet the needs of the District. In order for a fair evaluation the District is asking you to state your current retail pricing and discount offered on the brand names stated. The District will evaluate and determine the lowest price overall. The District is not restricted to purchasing only the market basket items. Items listed are for evaluation purposes only. DO NOT include sales tax on any “market basket” item listed in the product matrix.
