Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following services are to be performed on an “as needed” basis requested by a designated ADVS Employee per location: 3.1.1. Mow and edge Lawns; 3.1.2. Weed control and removal; 3.1.3. Aerate, de-thatching and provide seed for over-seeding as needed. (Seed varieties required will be communicated to the contractor at time of service request); 3.1.4. Pruning; 3.1.5. Litter removal; 3.1.6. Irrigation maintenance and/or repair; 3.1.7. Decorative rock removal and/or placement; 3.1.8. Sweeping or blowing; 3.1.9. Tree trimming; 3.1.10. Palm tree trimming; 3.1.11. Tree infection treatment; 3.1.12. Arborist Consultation; 3.1.13. Tree installation and removal; 3.1.14. Snow removal; 3.1.15. Provide and install fertilizer seed, shrubs, planters, trees, flowers, rock, soil, irrigation parts, pavers, brick, concrete, gravel, etc; and 3.1.16. Provide bulk deliveries on site of sands, landscape aggregate material to closely match existing landscape aggregate and provide a variety of rocks and boulders. 3.1.16.1. Must be able to provide minimum of five (5) tons, up to forty (40) tons for larger projects on site. 3.2. Care of Planted Areas: 3.2.1. Trees 3.2.1.1. Trees shall be maintained in a healthy, vigorous condition, free from disease and large concentrations of pests. 3.2.1.2. Prune trees only in appropriate months as determined by an arborist. Discard all tree trimmings off-site using a legal method. 3.2.1.3. Replace trees as required. A designated ADVS Employee shall approve replacement trees for size and apperance prior to planting. Replacement trees shall be double staked with two (2) inch diameter stakes unless otherwise approved by a designated ADVS Employee. 3.2.1.4. Upon request, prune all trees to encourage a high-branching structure. Remove all non-structural branches between the ground and a point half the tree’s total height unless trees are planted for screening purposes. 3.2.1.5. A vertical clearance of one hundred fourteen (114) inches is required above all parking spaces. A vertical clearance of eighty (80) inches is required above all walkways. Trim trees to remove all limbs within these areas.
