1.1 General Specifications 1.1.01 Contract vendor shall provide landscaping services and products, which may include, but not be limited to: landscape installation; landscape design and consulting; grounds maintenance; irrigation; landscape materials; repairs; and associated products. 1.1.02 Contract vendor shall have a current, and maintain through the life of an awarded contract, Arizona contractor’s, A, A-4, A-5, B1, B-2, KB-1, KB-2, CR-2, CR-9, CR-11, CR-21, and/or CR-69 license(s), as applicable to the services provided, from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Provide copy(ies) of Arizona Registrar of Contractors license(s) after Tab 2b Primary Vendor Information – Qualifications and Experience, Question 6. 1.1.03 Bidders that are in the license application process shall provide evidence of an application. Awarded contracts shall only be made to bidders holding an active, current A, A-4, A-5, B-1, B-2, KB-1, KB-2, CR-2, CR-9, CR-11, CR-21, and/or CR-69 license(s) from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, as applicable, at the date and time of award. Provide a copy of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors application receipt with pending number after Tab 2b Primary Vendor Information – Qualifications and Experience, Question 6. 1.1.04 Bidders shall provide documentation from Arizona Registrar of Contractors that the license provided, including those listed in Specification 1.1.02, allows either self-performing and/or subcontracting outside of the license’s classification and scope of work. Provide documentation from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors after Tab 2b Primary Vendor Information – Qualifications and Experience, Question 7. 1.1.05 Contract vendor or subcontractor providing landscaping design services shall hold a current registration for Landscape Architect with the AZBTR. Contract vendor self-performing landscaping design shall provide the number of the AZBTR Landscape Architect registration after Tab 2b Primary Vendor Information – Qualifications and Experience, Question 8. 1.1.06 It is preferred that contract vendor performing services be a certified company or employ personnel holding a professional association membership or society certifications including, but not limited to: ALCA, ISA, NALP, PGMS, or TCIA. Provide a copy of the current certification(s) after Tab 2b Primary Vendor Information – Qualifications and Experience, Question 9. 1.1.07 Contract vendor shall meet any current applicable local watershed requirements or codes for landscaping projects and designs. 1.1.08 Work completed or materials used on areas/sites designated to be transportation right of ways shall conform to current applicable AZDOT, FHWA and local regulations, standards, specifications, and codes. 1.1.09 Work completed or materials used in Maricopa or Pima Counties shall conform to the current applicable standards, specifications, and codes as described in the MAG or PAG regulations. Work completed in all other areas in Arizona shall conform to current applicable standards, specifications, and codes for those areas or cities. 1.1.10 All equipment, materials, chemicals, pesticides, products, and supplies provided, installed, and/or used for services shall comply with the current applicable standards for: ADOSH, ANSI, ASTM, AZDA, CPSC, EPA, and OSHA. 1.1.11 Installed materials and/or products shall meet current applicable federal, state, and local building codes for the application of the equipment, materials, and/or products intended use. 1.1.12 Installed materials and/or products shall meet current applicable industry standards for materials and/or manufacturing. 1.1.13 Contract vendor shall provide documentation demonstrating equipment, materials, and/or products installed, and/or used for services comply with current applicable building code and/or industry standards, upon member request. 1.1.14 The contract vendor shall establish and maintain effective communication with the member. Ongoing, regular communication is required. The contract vendor is encouraged to ask questions for clarification rather than make assumptions about the work. 1.1.15 Contract vendor shall supply current applicable Safety Data Sheets (SDS) upon member request.
