Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pima County Public Library intends to subscribe to a secure, online system that allows potential customers to apply online for a library card without visiting the Library. This system must provide address and name verification of information entered by the customer into the online system in real time. If the address and name are verified and residency per our cardholder policy is confirmed, the customer must receive a card number to immediate access the Library’s online resources for research, homework, entertainment, or other purposes. This system must write the customer’s information using APIs to our integrated library system, Sierra, where all customer data is stored. It must also lead the person to registration on the library’s website, which is a required step to use a library card online, and thus have integration with our website platform provided by BiblioCommons.
