Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify one or more vendors who can provide infant and family services to eligible deaf/hard of hearing or deaf-blind children birth to three (3) years old. Eligibility is to be determined by the Infant Family Services Plan (IFSP) team. Provision of services must address natural environment requirements as stated in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Part C Regulations, as part of the IFSP. ASDB is seeking providers that can provide infant and family services which consists of the following array of programming services: 0 American Sign Language (ASL) Services - ASL Classes - Deaf Mentor in the Home to monitor & support visual language development. 0 Infant and Family Center Based Services 0 Early Childhood Parent Education Services 0 Early Childhood Training & Mentoring to ASDB Staff & Service Providers 0 Listening & Spoken Language (LSL) Services - LSLS Auditory-Verbal Therapy (AVT or AVed) - LSLS Auditory-Oral Education 0 Parent Toddler Classes and Early Intervention Center Based Services 0 Pediatric Audiology Services 0 Speech Therapy Services Preference will be given to vendors able to provide services in rural areas.
