Specifications include, but are not limited to: The majority of class descriptions should address the beginning level student, and can include limited additional offerings for continuing, intermediate, and adapted level students.; 2. The Offeror shall remain within our pre-designated scheduling per year as provided herein, four (4) sessions, subject to change: • Winter (January – March); • Spring (January-May); • Summer (June-August); • Fall (September-December); 3. The total number weeks for instruction shall not exceed forty-seven (47) weeks of offerings per fiscal year (July 1-June 30).; 1. Instructor will be responsible for providing and storing all personal items and supplies and specialty items. No storage space will be available at the instruction site locations so equipment used must be transported each class day.; 2. The City of Scottsdale requires that all instructors working with students under 18 years old have a background check. Proof of the background check on these instructors must be supplied by the successful Instructor within two weeks of award of this contract and before commencement of classes.; 3. Instructor shall: • Monitor class participants throughout instruction.; • Ensure adherence to safety practices and to City policies and procedures.; • Respond to and resolve participant complaints; and • Provide information to participants and to the general public regarding programs, class schedules and course techniques.; 4. Instructor shall comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and provide reasonable accommodations, with the assistance of the City, to qualified individuals with disabilities.; 5. Instructors are prohibited from selling any supplies, materials, books, etc., to the students.
