Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Valleywise Health is soliciting this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a supplier(s) to provide a host neutral active Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) in 2023 to the new Acute Care Hospital and Shared Services Building located on its Phoenix campus based on the specifications provided in Section 3.0 and is open to any alternate solutions that will meet or exceed these specifications. The scope of this solicitation is intended to improve cellular coverage and bandwidth capacity within and around the newly developed Roosevelt campus scheduled for completion late 2023. Due to the increasing demand for wireless services, and the continuously evolving technologies available for the delivery of those services, Valleywise Health is seeking proposals for telecommunications services and solutions to increase the coverage and capacity for mobile devices for its patients, staff, visitors and guests. Other campus locations may be added during the life of the contract with written mutual consent from both parties. Proposed solutions will complement, not replace or hinder, the Hospital’s Wi-Fi infrastructure. Solutions to be considered include but are not limited to both indoor and outdoor Distributed Antenna Systems for both voice and data services. Valleywise community of Patients, visitors, staff, Medical students, residents, and faculty are technology enabled, demonstrated by an average daily connection of more than 5,000 concurrent authenticated mobile devices through Valleywise Health Secure Wi-Fi network. The number of mobile devices on the Roosevelt campus peaks during periods where residents and teaching and education classes occur. Valleywise Health desires to increase capacity and coverage within this facility.
