1. Demolition & Removal • Disconnect, isolate, and remove the existing boiler, associated piping, pumps, flues, controls, and unused accessories. • Properly dispose of all removed equipment in accordance with environmental regulations. 2. Installation of New Boiler System • Provide and install the new boiler, including all required mounting hardware, piping modifications, valves, sensors, gas connections, electrical connections, venting, and condensate management. • Integrate the new boiler with the existing Building Automation System (BAS) and verify all control points. 3. Ancillary Equipment & System Upgrades • Replace associated pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, or safety devices as required by the manufacturer or City standards. • Provide new insulation, labeling, and updated as-built diagrams for all modified systems. 4. Testing, Start-Up & Commissioning The Contractor shall perform comprehensive testing and commissioning to ensure the boiler system operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with design intent. Required tasks include: • Factory-authorized start-up performed by a certified technician.
