Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Arizona Department of Administration, State Procurement Office (the State) on behalf of the Industrial Commission of Arizona (ICA), as authorized under A.R.S. § 41-2501 et seq. is seeking to establish one or more Contracts to provide Grounds Keeping and Landscaping Services. The State anticipates awarding contract(s) with the intent to secure service coverage for 2 locations, one in Phoenix and one in Tucson. Supplier can bid on services for one location or both locations. Whether or not it actually enters into any contracts, how many contracts it enters into, and how the work is awarded between those contracts are all at the State’s discretion. Furthermore, the State will use any awarded contracts on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee as to its actual spending under them. 2.1 The awarded contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, material, equipment, and services required to provide the Grounds Keeping and Landscaping services in accordance with the requirements contained herein for al total (all inclusive ) firm, fixed monthly rate, reference in Arizona Procurement Portal Line items. 2.2 All properly licensed/registered Grounds and landscaping companies that comply with the specifications contained herein will be considered. 2.3 The frequency and utilization of all services will be determined at the sole direction of the building supervisor or their designee. 2.4 Contractor’s personnel shall have experience and knowledge without limitation of: a) Safety precautions in using pesticides/herbicides/fungicides and other plant chemicals and soil amendments. b) Work leadership and scheduling activities of a ground’s operation. c) Performing preventative maintenance on powered/non powered grounds equipment and plant life. d) Shall be knowledgeable in the area of plant identification and health and be able to make recommendations regarding plant maintenance, and replacement as required.
