Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mohave County (hereinafter referred to as “the County”) is soliciting competitive bids from qualified firms to establish a contract for the replacement of waterlines in preparation for the eventual construction of an extension of the Grace Neal channel in the vicinity of Jagerson Ave and N Castle Rock Road, North of Kingman, AZ, on behalf of the Mohave County Flood Control District. 1.7.2 Contractor is not constructing the flood channel and the other pages are included for reference for the Grace Neal channel extension project to be bid and constructed separately. 1.7.3 WATERLINE: A unit price per linear foot of water line installed is to be the basis of bidding. Removal and proper disposal of existing line is incidental to the cost of installing new line. All fittings required to install new water line per plans and standards of the City of Kingman is incidental to the cost of installing the new line. 1.7.4 AIR RELEASE VALVE AND GATE VALVES: Air Release valve and Gate Valves are to be bid based on quantity installed. 1.7.5 MOBILIZATION: Mobilization is a separate charge. 1.7.6 CONCRETE: Concrete for the protection of the sewer/water line interface per City of Kingman Detail 404 is to be based on 20 cubic yards of concrete, priced per cubic yard. Modifications to price on this item will be based on quantities required above the 20 cubic yards at the listed unit price. 1.7.7 TESTING: Chlorination and pressure testing is lump sum.
