Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal of Gases A. The vendor will ensure the safety of personnel and the environment by providing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), safety training, and safety procedures in compliance with Arizona occupational safety regulations. B. The vendor will be responsible for providing all the appropriate recovery equipment and tools necessary for safe gas removal, ensuring that this equipment meets both EPA and Arizona state standards, and is properly maintained. C. The vendor will ensure that technicians performing gas recovery are properly certified by the EPA, and meet any additional certification or licensing requirements mandated by Arizona state regulations. D. The vendor will safely recover the refrigerants or gases from the equipment using EPAapproved recovery equipment that also complies with Arizona state regulations. E. The technician will be required to mark (sticker, paint etc.) each unit that has been extracted so that we know which ones have been completed and are ready for recycling. F. Vendor will need to label containers during storage and transport of recovered gases in containers approved by both the EPA and Arizona regulatory authorities for hazardous materials. G. The vendor will maintain detailed records of the gas recovery process, including the types and quantities of gases recovered, the date, and the equipment used, meeting both EPA and Arizona record-keeping requirements. Vendor must also send or provide a copy to the LRSC.
