Specifications include, but are not limited to: a)The proposed functional movement specialist will evaluate the need for, and conduct an on-site assessment when necessary to perform job-site observations and get an idea of what movements (task performance)employees are making, to help identify unsafe behaviors, and how to apply corrective strategies (what stretching exercises they should do for their particular job to reduce injuries).b)The vendor will offer classes to instruct the movement exercises that the specialist designs based on observations from the assessment as well as human functional performance. The goal is for the specialist to teach the proper movements and coaching for unsafe behaviors/movements of each employee. This class may occur at various times during the day to meet department operational needs.c)After the initial class and functional movement instruction to employees, the vendor will provide follow-up movement and training sessions for employees.
