Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Background Phoenix Union High School District was founded in 1895 and is comprised of eleven comprehensive, five alternative schools and two administrative sites. The District is over 220 square miles in Central Phoenix, Arizona and has approximately 2,700 employees and an enrollment of more than 24,000 students. 2. Purpose The District is seeking a qualified, licensed company to provide complete Annual Fire Alarm and Emergency Communication Systems Inspections and Testing at each campus, alternative school and administrative site within the District. A listing of each site complete with address has been provided in this bid. Inspections and Testing are to be done in accordance with Chapter 7 of NFPA 72, a copy of which is also provided with this bid. 3. Inspection and Testing Schedule All inspections and testing are to be done during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, during dates when students are not in session (i.e., Spring Break, Summer Recess, Christmas Break, etc.). Each District location shall be inspected once during each calendar year of this contract.
