Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pima County, Arizona (County) seeks to prequalify software vendors and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)systems in adv ance of its upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP) for Software and Implementation Services toreplace major financial, material and work management, human resource, and other related administrativesystems currently in place at County County currently uses four major separate and heavily customized systems along with many additional standalone applications and side systems to manage key business processes and track information for financial,purchasing, human resource, and other related administrative functions. The current systems environmentsuffers from non-integration of systems, lack of reporting capabilities, and extensive manual and redundanteffort for data entry and completion of standard business processes. County's project to replace all currentfinancial, work and material management, human resource and other related administrative systems (thePimaCore Project), will result in the implementation of an enterprise wide system built with a commonarchitecture and industry best practices that allows County to improve business processes, make informationavailable throughout the organization and take advantage of electronic workflow, ad-hoc reporting, and user selfservice capabilities.
