The District now wishes to secure engineering services that will assist with scoping, engineering and constructing future projects in the Pipeline Flood Area. Strong experience with post-wildfire flood mitigation modeling, engineering and construction is a crucial requirement. Likely flood mitigation measures could include, but are not limited to the following types of watershed restoration and flood mitigation measures both on- and off-forest: ➢ Watershed restoration measures, such as alluvial fan restoration, channel stabilization, Zuni Bowls, rock vane weirs, berms, head cut repairs, removing sedimentation, and other related sediment-reduction measures; ➢ Detention Basins ➢ Retention Basins ➢ Sediment Basins ➢ Storm Drain Systems (bored and excavated) ➢ Channels ➢ Culverts ➢ Energy Dissipaters ➢ Roadside Ditches and other road-related drainage features ➢ Highway Related Flood Mitigation
