Specifications include, but are not limited to: Offerors qualified, responsible and willing to provide DSX Access Control and Security Equipment. 1.1. Contractor will provide new components and replacement parts on an as needed basis. Parts currently being utilized in most County facilities are listed in Exhibit B – Unit Prices. Contractor will not replace parts identified as “no substitute” with another brand unless County has determined the item is obsolete with no manufacturer’s replacement. a) Contractor will commence work even if waiting for materials. Work should be start within fourteen (14) business days of request b) County may require Contractor to coordinate with FM for programming and troubleshooting existing and new systems. 1.2. Contractor will provide technical support for maintenance and programming as needed for new and existing DSX access control systems. a) Parts will be new in the box and must be “backward compatible” with existing DSX equipment. Prior approval from a Pima County Facilities Management is required for use of used or remanufactured components. Additionally, if approved, or remanufactured parts must also be compatible with DSX existing components. Parts must be made available to Pima County within 15 business days of request accompanied by a Delivery Order (DO). Notification of delays caused by supply chain or delivery issues must be provided to Pima County within 48 hours of order and estimated time of delivery should be provided as quickly as possible. b) Provide technical documentation, including but not limited to, technical, service, and operational manuals at Pima County's request. c) Employ a minimum of two (2) trained service technicians with knowledge of DSX access control systems and be able to provide training documents to Pima County upon request.
