Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cleaning shall be as frequent as necessary to maintain a maximum state of aseptic (i.e., free from disease-producing bacteria, etc.) cleanliness and a maximum state of aesthetic or visual cleanliness. Disinfect all door handles and knobs and lobby chairs. These duties are to be performed by Contract personnel assigned to clean the buildings during both business and non-business hours, depending on the location/building. A. Clean Uniform Appearance – All interior/exterior cleaning shall have a uniform, clean appearance free from dirt, cobwebs, stains, streaks, smudges, fingerprints, lint, cleaning marks, film and deposits, scuff marks, swirl marks, detergent residue, splash marks, etc. B. Outside Entrances and Steps – The exterior of building entrances (within 10 feet) shall be swept and debris removed. This includes all bench areas outside of buildings where employees or citizens take breaks. When walking from building to building, dispose of all trash, litter or other debris as needed. Porches, handicap ramps, steps, basement stairways and any other areas under cover outside the buildings shall be swept to remove all soil, litter and trash. All visible surface litter, soil, dirt, cobwebs, etc., shall be removed from the area. Waste receptacles adjacent to the entrance shall be emptied and cleaned.
