The Department is seeking to establish a contract with a Crane Training company, herein referred to as the Contractor, to provide crane operator training, testing, and qualifications for the following: Five (5) year qualifications for mobile crane operator and rigging equipment under OSHA General Industry subpart N (Non portable) Shall include a minimum of forty (40) hours of training, including testing and practicals in mobile crane operations and rigging gear Shall include training for up to two (2) vehicles per class as determined by ADOT Project Manager. Training should be conducted Monday -Thursday between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm MST. All applicable parts of OSHA General Industry standard 29 CFR 1910 subpart N that apply to ADOT crane equipment shall be addressed within the training. Training/testing shall meet or exceed OSHA requirements for Cranes and General Industry (e.g., customized training that reflects ADOT’s use of specific equipment would be considered to exceed OSHA requirements.).
