Amendment #0001 Changes the line items in Schedule of Items (See revised attachment):
Project: The USDA Forest Service, Apache—Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for NFSR 249 pavement preservation treatment (micro-surfacing or fog seal) and striping on Alpine Ranger District, Apache County, Arizona.
Work will include cleaning road, applying the re-surfacing, and new centerline stripe on NFSR 249 from Alpine, AZ to Big Lake (approximately 16.42 miles).
Magnitude of project: Between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This solicitation is advertised under NAICS 237310 $39.5 Million is size standard for Small Business Set-Aside; PSC code Z2LB. Award will be based on Best Value - Tradeoffs. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract.
No Formal Site Visit will be scheduled. Roads in this area of the forest may be closed due to winter weather until after April 10, 2022. However, unofficial site visits requests may be made with Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), Simon Cox (contact via email: simon.cox@usda.gov) up through May 20, 2022. Notify the Contracting Officer if requesting an unofficial site visit from COR: warren.abbott@usda.gov.
Offer Submission: Interested parties should submit an offer in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. Responses to this solicitation should be sent by email in electronic format to the Contracting Officer. All submittal and deadline requirements shall be met by use of email: warren.abbott@usda.gov.
