Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Surprise seeks a creative design team incorporating artists, graphic designers, engineers, and/or architects to conceptualize and design a signature gateway monument program. The design team will work with the City of Surprise staff to develop primary, secondary, and special district gateway monument areas with prototypical designs for each in coordination with other Planning efforts. This gateway monument program will provide a unique signature image for the City that will reflect the City’s culture, history, and future. This project is open to all design professionals who have experience in the development of municipal signature gateway monuments and features. The selected project team will provide conceptual alternatives, a detailed design, and construction bid documents for each type of signature gateway proposed. This contract, at the City’s discretion, may be amended or expanded to include other required services to complete the project. The selected project team will be required to possess the proper professional registrations for design in the State of Arizona.
