Specifications include, but are not limited to: . Consultants duties would consist of, at a minimum, the following: i. Identify a clear understanding of the current brand awareness of Avondale, both inside and outside the City. ii. Conduct research with key public groups (both internal and external) to determine existing attitudes, perceptions and reasons why businesses, residents and visitors choose Avondale, or look elsewhere, and identify opportunities and challenges to enhance the Citys image. iii. Develop strategies and tactical plans, based on qualitative research and analysis of quantitative data, to position message statements. iv. Provide a unified branding marketing plan with recommendations for priority allocation of limited funds by audience and/or group. This could include proposed funding methods to finance a longterm branding campaign. v. Develop several alternatives for a creative look to bring the strategic position to life. Recommend the specific necessary elements to deliver that message including logo design, slogans or tag lines, print collateral, print advertising, digital media including website design and social media applications, public relations, events, point of entry signage, monument signage, streetscape aesthetics, etc. vi. Develop messaging for communitys target markets. Define how the core message can be expanded to existing economic development, visitor initiatives and Historic Avondale revitalization efforts, as well as broader regional partners and assets.
