The project scope of work may include but not be limited to abatement, demolition, partitions, doors, windows, finishes, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and special systems. Key considerations are as follows: • Renovation of nearly 18,000 square feet of unfinished areas to provide public spaces for exhibits and programs • Development of nearly 10,000 square feet of underdeveloped areas to provide staff support • Two (2) rooms may require major structural improvements • Eight (8) rooms lack a Certificate-of-Occupancy • Five (5) rooms lack environmental conditioning • Eight (8) or more rooms require lead abatement • Eleven (11) rooms require build-out to provide partitions, lighting, power, and fire alarm systems, security systems, communication systems, and other special systems.
