This project includes the preparation of final design documents for construction of Centennial Blvd as an alternate route corridor connecting the towns of Taylor and Snowflake ensuring long-term functionality and resilience. The project is located on Centennial Blvd from Center Street to 7th Street, 7th Street from Centennial Blvd to Cottonwood Wash. Both roadways are classified as Minor Collectors. Project features include roadway, sidewalks, crosswalks, intersections, drainage, signing and pavement marking. The design consultant’s scope of work includes: Develop plans, specifications, and estimates for construction. Perform topographic survey as needed. Conduct the required technical analyses, calculations and prepare reports, including: Geotechnical Field Investigation Plan, Geotechnical Report, Drainage Report and Material Design Report. Provide a bid package which includes plans, specifications and estimates for construction and support to the ADOT Contracts and Specifications Group for bid advertisement. The design of the project will meet or exceed AASHTO, MAG, ADOT, Town of Taylor and Snowflake and MUTCD standards. The consultant shall provide documentation and support to ADOT staff in securing the necessary environmental, utility, and Right of Way clearances for the project. Environmental analysis and technical reports to support ADOT EP in providing the Categorical Exclusion: environmental review footprint/Area of Potential Effects (APE), Agency Scoping Clearance, Geotech biological evaluation short form (BESF), Preliminary Initial Site Assessment (PISA), Class III Cultural Survey, Agency and Tribal consultation. Utility coordination is required for Utility clearance. Right-of-way coordination is required for R/W clearance. TCE is anticipated. Conduct management and administrative tasks including coordination, meetings, schedule updates, comment resolutions, etc. Submittals will include Scoping Letter, Stage II, Stage III, Stage IV, and final sealed documents. Document retention, project schedule, and risk register updates within the Workfront platform will be required.
