1. Purpose The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to contract with a qualified firm to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) services for the Outdoor Food Services Kitchen and Dining Building at Carl Hayden High School. The project is briefly presented in the following paragraphs. 2. Project Description The Phoenix Union High School District intends to construct a 4,800 square foot Outdoor Food Services Kitchen, Serving Line, and non-air-airconditioned outdoor Dining Building at Carl Hayden High School. The new building will consist of a kitchen, two food service areas, and a dining area that includes surrounding patio areas which will serve approximately 400 students. The new building will be constructed of a masonry and aluminum storefront building exterior, steel trusses, metal roof deck, and a hot applied built-up roofing system. The HVAC system will be a stand-alone system for the food prep and food service areas only.
