The project under design consists of the replacement of four Service Entrance Sections (SESs). The SESs serve buildings supporting critical functions of the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Consequently, service replacements must be planned to minimize disruptions to the departments served. All Downstream Transformers, Feeders and Electrical Panels will need to be replaced. Electrical Equipment to be replaced are as follows: • DPS Compound • DPS Headquarters Building • DPS Crime Lab Building • DPS Criminal Investigations Building The service at the Compound is located in Building 128 (Security Tower) and services multiple buildings which make up the compound.
