Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 Goals and Objectives: i. Bring affordable high speed or improved internet to the entire boundaries of Coconino County with an emphasis on connecting our communities. ii. Interconnect Coconino County facilities and infrastructure. The County is willing to invest up to $1 Million in partnership to complete this objective. iii. Connect community anchor institutions and infrastructure, including but not limited to education facilities and fire stations. 3.2 Project Requirements: i. Installation of fiber optic cabling for Middle Mile and/or Last Mile projects. ii. Projects must be capable of offering symmetrical gigabit services and be scalable to multigigabit services in the future. Residential BEAD bandwidth requirements are 100/20. iii. The ISP must be willing to offer service to every home and business in the proposed service area(s). iv. The ISP must provide quarterly project updates to County Leadership until project completion. 3.3 Project Preferences: i. In areas where Coconino County facilities are located, Coconino County is seeking to connect County buildings with dedicated dark fiber strands which will be owned by Coconino County (Site list provided upon request). ii. Open Access Network / Competitive Pricing. iii. Ability to assist Coconino County with identifying FCC National Broadband Map challenges across the entire County. iv. Fiber to the home (FTTH), fiber to the building (FTTB), fiber to the curb (FTTC), implementation versus fixed wireless. v. Residential broadband minimum 100/100.
