Specifications include, but are not limited to: SRPMIC provides wellness benefits to the approximately 4,300 employees under its selffunded medical plan. The wellness benefit provision is through an award-winning program called ‘WellPath.’ The Community’s Benefits Committee, oversees the operation of the self-funded plan. A subcommittee, the WellPath Steering Committee, provides oversight and guidance to both Human Resources and the Benefits Committee. Since April of 2010, WellPath has allowed participants to assess their current health status. WellPath provides tools needed to identify health risks and prevent future loss of function and illness. This accomplished through a voluntary biometric screening and health risk assessment process referred to as the ‘ABCs of Participation.’ Due to the confidential nature of this process, a third party vendor is used to provide biometric screening and health risk assessment services. The third party is also the custodian of WellPath’s participant data as well as the provider of anonymized reports for use by WellPath to use for program evaluation and planning. The intent of this RFP is to award a contract to a vendor, or vendors to provide these services.
