Services and levels of care provided shall be consistent with Arizona State Department of Health Services, and BBHL. Any subcontracting of work requires prior Community approval. 1) Residential Treatment (Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility, Behavioral Health Residential Facility, Therapeutic Homes) a) Behavioral health residential facilities (secure and non-secure) services shall be provided in a licensed facility. A Residential Treatment Center may be used in certain situations and only when requested by DHHS. Under most conditions, this level of service shall be provided in a residential facility for behavioral health and/or substance use that provide, at a minimum: i) Counseling, psychiatry, medical services ii) Continuous on-site or on-call availability; iii) Continuous treatment to an individual who is experiencing a behavioral health issue that limits the individual’s independence but who is able to participate in all aspects of treatment and to meet the individual’s basic physical and age appropriate needs; iv) Appropriately scheduled Child and Family Team meetings and Adult Recovery Team meetings. 2) Adult Transitional Living/Sober Living Homes a) Licensed Adult Transitional Living are settings intended for the transition back into the community of individuals struggling with substance use and chemical dependency.
