Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Water Resources (ADWR) is seeking a supplier to provide required software to support their Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) Network. The Department utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology, in conjunction with CORS to determine precise location and positioning information used by the Department as well as the public at large. The Department maintains 23 GNSS receiver/antenna combinations as part of its CORS network. The receivers, antennas, licenses, and software were originally purchased by the Arizona State Land Department as part of a grant and transferred to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) in 2014 and subsequently transferred to ADWR in 2023. The 23 receiver and antenna combinations, along with the software that runs the system is on now on two ADWR virtual servers. Some of the current receivers have been replaced over the last five years, while others have now exceeded the expected life cycle and will require replacement as they continue to fail. Without the proper software and equipment, the network would fail and not continue to function.
